Dr. Nicole Salazer-Austin is a pediatric infectious disease instructor at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She studied medicine at Harvard University, and trained in pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. During the course of her training, Dr. Salazar-Austin worked in Nkomazi, South Africa and in Francistown, Botswana where she performed a needs assessment of the Nyangabgwe hospital’s infection control program.
