Product Highlights
Latent TB Infection (LTBI) Videos for Primary Care Providers
We have updated two of the brief videos in this series on LTBI to reflect the latest CDC guidelines. Though the videos are intended for primary care providers, especially those working in community settings, they may be useful for other providers as well.
Screening for LTBI and Diagnosing LTBI
Screening for LTBI (10 minutes) and Diagnosing LTBI (15 minutes) are available now; videos on Treatment of LTBI and Monitoring Patients on Treatment for LTBI are in development and will be available later this year.
The video is available online only and can be streamed from our website at: http://globaltb.njms.rutgers.edu/educationalmaterials/productfolder/ltbivideos1.php
This resource has been updated to include the most recent recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics. The guide summarizes the key information pediatric primary care providers will need to screen, diagnose, and treat LTBI in children and adolescents. Topics covered include targeted testing, risk assessment, diagnostic tests, LTBI treatment regimens, monitoring, and approaches to increase treatment adherence.
