TB Training Roadmap

This online tool is designed for individuals responsible for training staff working in TB prevention and care. The tool can be used to develop an individualized training plan, or Training Roadmap, for new staff including public health nurses, outreach workers, disease investigators, epidemiologists, and others.

After users answer a series of questions about the job roles/responsibilities of the new staff member, the tool generates a training plan of learning materials and additional resources. Links are included for all materials in the Roadmap.
Users can easily customize the Roadmap by:

• Adding state or local program tools, documents, and resources
• Deleting materials that are not relevant
• Adding due dates, checkboxes to document completion, and fields for supervisor sign off

The final product is a downloadable word version of the training plan.
